Editorial policy and calculator methods

What this website offers

We publish explanations of traditional astrology, numerology, Hindu calendars and devotional stories alongside free calculators. These materials are for cultural learning and personal reflection. Astrological interpretations are belief-based; they do not establish a scientific prediction about an individual.

Calculations and interpretations

Calendar and chart tools calculate from the date, time and location supplied. The code uses astronomical libraries and a sidereal convention for relevant Vedic calculations. Some server tools attempt to use Swiss Ephemeris and fall back to JavaScript calculations when the native library is unavailable. A computed position and a traditional interpretation of that position are different kinds of information.

Results can change with birth-time uncertainty, coordinates, timezone, calculation convention and ritual tradition. A general calendar page does not provide a personally verified ceremony window. Confirm local festival and ritual conventions before making bookings.

Articles and stories

Blog articles explain specific topics with worked examples and practical limits. Story pages are interpretive retellings, not literal translations. Their source labels identify broad textual or oral traditions; versions may differ. Modern commentary and reflections should not be mistaken for a quotation from scripture.

We aim to publish useful explanations in distinct wording. Familiar facts, traditional concepts and shared mythological plots naturally appear in other sources too; our explanatory text and modern reflections should be read as an editorial interpretation. Illustrations support the subject and are not documentary images of mythological events.

Authorship and corrections

Articles and retellings are credited to JyotishKundli. We do not claim a named astrologer, professional qualification or independent expert review unless it has been provided and verified. Publication and revision dates have different meanings; revised articles display their update date.

If a calculation, translation, source label or statement appears wrong, email admin@jyotishkundli.in with the page URL and the issue. For a calculator, include only the details you are comfortable sharing. Avoid sending unnecessary personal information.

Limits and commercial transparency

Readings do not replace medical care, legal advice, financial advice or relationship safety support. No gemstone, ritual, score or forecast guarantees an outcome. Purchases and spiritual practices are voluntary.

This release does not install AdSense advertising tags. If advertising or paid recommendations are introduced, they must be identified and the privacy policy updated for the services actually enabled. Approval, traffic and search rankings are not guaranteed.
